ROGER RINGHAM

Assistant Director

Roger is an Assistant Director within a large NHS Healthcare Trust and Head of Service for Security and Fraud Experts (SAFE). He has an extensive background in law enforcement and has accredited as both a Security Management and Counter Fraud Specialist.  

In addition, Roger holds other security related positions which includes:
  • Chair and Board Director for the National Association for Healthcare Security (NAHS).  
  • NaCTSO CT BIE National UK Lead for Healthcare.
  • Secured by Design National UK Lead for Healthcare.
  • Chair of the South West Region Security Management Group. 
Roger is also working with a number of regulatory and supervisory bodies to develop and enhance a new set of sector specific security management standards, the Violence Prevention and Reduction Strategy and the BILD / RRN Accreditation.

ANDY KNIGHT

Head of Counter Fraud 

Andy has extensive experience as a Certified Counter Fraud Specialist in the civil service, health care, insurance, retail and charity sectors. CFPAB registered and a former Deputy National Project Manager with NHS Protect. 

Andy brings a wealth of experience to the role of Client Engagement Lead/Counter Fraud Specialist, including; covert surveillance, criminal investigation, fraud prevention, training and project management expertise. Andy is a TCM accredited and Acas trained investigator and also holds a City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Education and Training.

SHAWN WHITLEY

Head of Security Management

After serving 27 years with Sussex and Dorset Police, Shawn joined the NHS in 2019 as a Security Management Specialist, bringing extensive operational and investigative experience from a distinguished policing career. Prior to joining the NHS, Shawn held the rank of Inspector with Dorset Police, where he led Patrol and Neighbourhood Teams across the county.


Throughout his policing career, Shawn worked across a wide range of CID and uniform roles, developing significant expertise in criminal investigations, crime management, crime prevention, partnership working, and problem solving. His leadership experience and practical understanding of operational policing have provided a strong foundation for his work within the NHS security environment.



In his current role, Shawn supports organisations in strengthening their approach to security management, drawing upon his extensive frontline experience and strategic insight. In addition to his security expertise, Shawn is also an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist, enabling him to support organisations in both protective security and fraud-related matters.

CHARLOTTE PARK

Head of Operations and Compliance

Charlotte is a highly experienced professional with a strong background spanning operations, compliance, marketing, and communications within the security and healthcare sectors. A qualified Graphic Designer, she combines creativity with strategic and operational insight to deliver impactful campaigns, effective stakeholder engagement, and high-quality organisational support.


With extensive experience managing complex projects, Charlotte plays a key role in supporting operational delivery, regulatory compliance, governance processes, and business development initiatives. Her ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, maintain meticulous attention to detail, and ensure consistency across communications and operational outputs makes her an integral part of the SAFE team.


Charlotte is particularly skilled in developing professional documentation, managing internal and external communications, supporting compliance frameworks, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. Her adaptable and proactive approach enables her to work effectively across a wide range of operational, administrative, and strategic functions.


Dedicated, organised, and solutions-focused, Charlotte consistently delivers excellence in every aspect of her work and continues to make a significant contribution to the ongoing success and growth of SAFE.


In addition to her role for SAFE, Charlotte is the Chief Operating Officer for the National Association for Healthcare Security (NAHS).


HENRY WYRILL

Security Management & Counter Fraud Technician

Henry is our new Security Management and Counter Fraud Technician who will be tasked with assisting the Heads’ of both our Counter Fraud and Security Management Specialists. Additionally, his work will see him taking a dynamic and proactive approach towards the awareness and understanding of an anti-fraud and pro-security culture within your organisations.


From a range of experience within the NHS through both patient facing and admin roles, as well as an abundance of transferrable skills gained from academic and professional endeavours, Henry is well equipped to guide, assist and aid your organisations within the Counter-Fraud and Security Management sector.


Through completing his accreditations, Henry will look to optimise his operational status and help SAFEs goal in protecting your employees and organisations.

KIARA MANLEY

Business Co-ordinator 

As a dedicated and highly valued Business Co-ordinator, Kiara is an integral part of SAFE – Security & Fraud Experts, where she plays a vital role in supporting the organisation’s day-to-day operations. Exceptionally organised, proactive, and dependable, Kiara has a natural ability to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes, from managing schedules and coordinating projects to streamlining administrative processes with efficiency and professionalism.


Kiara also plays a leading role in managing SAFE’s social media presence, helping to create engaging content, promote campaigns, and ensure consistent communication across multiple platforms. Her creativity, attention to detail, and understanding of audience engagement have helped strengthen the organisation’s online presence and visibility.


Alongside her role with SAFE, Kiara also serves as Secretariat for the National Association for Healthcare Security (NAHS), where her professionalism, organisation, and commitment continue to make a significant impact within the healthcare security sector.
